2021 Year-end Thank You

Updated: Aug 10, 2022

The end of the year is a natural time to look back at the previous year and ponder all that the Lord has done and today our voices proclaim, as David did in Psalm 9:1, “I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done.”

As we reflect back on this last year, with all of its significant changes, it is impossible to not recount the marvelous things the Lord has done for us. We prayed for seven years to see some of the things we saw happen in 2021 come to fruition. Although this year has held its challenges (all new chapters and transitions do, after all) we wanted to highlight some of the biggest blessings that, as my mom would have said, “blessed our socks off” this year!

To do that, we sat together as a family, named off our biggest blessings, and created this word cloud to visualize the many things we are thankful for! Of course, one of the biggest ways the Lord has provided for us and encouraged us this past year has been through His people and His church. To each of you who have prayed for us, supported us financially, sent cards of encouragement, texted when the Lord put us on your heart, sent care packages (despite the postage!), and reminded us of God’s faithfulness on the hard days….thank you! Thank you for being the hands & feet of Jesus to us. We are able to serve in the way the Lord has called because you are co-laboring with us in this ministry, and we are ever so thankful!

Much love from the Gruenings and may God bless your 2022 with health, joy, strength, peace, and fruitfulness in service to him!

I love that word picture of the world with your praises!!! You fill the world with your praise to God for His faithfulness! And that always helps to look back on to see how God has moved and worked in your lives over a short and over a long period! We praise God for your family being a part of our lives!
